BY PLACING AN ORDER FOR A COMMISSION, YOU AGREE THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD AND HAVE AGREED WITH THE FOLLOWING TERMS.──── ꒰ GENERAL ꒱⊹ I reserve the right to decline a commission should I feel myself unable to proceed with your request.
⊹ I reserve the rights to publish the commissioned piece on any platform, as portfolio work, unless discussed otherwise.
⊹ I reserve the right to showcase my process of commissioned piece through social media or streaming platforms, unless discussed otherwise.──── ꒰ WILL DO / WON’T DO ꒱⊹ I will draw… humanoid characters / original characters / vtubers / simple cute animals / fanart / kemonomimis / in-game characters (i.e. ffxiv, ro) / mild nudity
⊹ I will not draw… full nudity / gore / insects / furries / anthro / monsters / armor / muscular characters / mecha / extreme violence
⊹ In regards to very masculine-presenting characters, I currently am not as confident drawing male-presenting characters outside of a chibi manner. I apologize for this but I cannot, in good faith, offer a service that I currently lack skill within. Chibi styled characters are fine however (i.e. twitch emotes, pfps, etc).For anything else unlisted, if you are curious, please ask me prior to placing an order.──── ꒰ CORRECTIONS & REVISIONS ꒱⊹ You will be provided with a low resolution sketch for revision purposes, allowing you to ask for any changes and/or suggestions.
⊹ All work on commission will be halted after sketch has been sent, to ensure commissioner is able to give feedback and approve the sketch.
⊹ Once sketch has been approved, you will be given another chance for revision mid-process then one more revision closer the completion for any minor fixes (i.e colour correction, minor detail changes, note if something is missing).
⊹ Major revisions, past sketching phase, will not be allowed (i.e. change of pose, character, outfit, etc). If you require a complete overhaul of the commission piece, this will cost extra and will require more time.
⊹ The amount of revisions offered will differ depending on complexity of commission. For example, a custom emote or illustration will have more chances for revision. YCH (Your Character Here) commissions will offer less.
⊹ Surprise me / Skeb-like commissions will not offer revisions but will offer corrections only for the sake of remedying mistakes, not adding extra elements.──── ꒰ DEADLINES ꒱⊹ I will work on commissions as they come in, however if you have a deadline or need priority, please inform prior to ordering. Do note that a priority order (rush) fee will be included in the final price of commission.
⊹ Timeframe: Your commission will be completed within 2-8 weeks of acceptance, approximately. Depending on my workload and/or the complexity of your commission, this timeframe may change. If needed, I will contact you prior to change the deadline and inform you of any suspected delays.
⊹ For larger orders (i.e. huge emote orders, png-tubers, etc), timeframe may be longer than the approximated 2-8 weeks. In this case, I will be contacting you first to discuss a timeframe that works best for both yourself and I.──── ꒰ PAYMENTS ꒱⊹ Full payment is required before work is commenced.
⊹ Priority fee (rush order): +75% added (please ask prior placing order).
⊹ Commercial fee - monetized content: +100% (i.e. youtube & twitch content).
⊹ Commercial fee - merchandising: +150% (i.e. repurposing images for physical merchandise).
⊹ The fee for monetized content (not merchandising) is automatically added to services such as emotes and pngtubers. Other illustrations will have them as an added optional fee.
⊹ Prices are subject to change.Unsure if your commission falls under personal use or commercial use?Posting the artwork on social media/discord for showcasing your character, with no advertising in mind, counts as personal use. Posting on YouTube, Twitch, TikTok, etc, while being monetized/affiliated (or aiming to be monetized in the future) requires a commercial use fee. Using the artwork to make/sell merchandise (i.e. stickers, acrylic keychains, etc) requires a commercial merchandising fee.──── ꒰ REFUNDS ꒱⊹ Refunds are possible only if work has NOT yet started.
⊹ Chargebacks, without reason and prior discussion, is not allowed.
⊹ Refunds and chargebacks due to being irresponsible with your finances, and buyer’s remorse, are not allowed. This will result to you being blacklisted.
⊹ If I am unable to complete your commission, I will provide a full refund to you (minus VGen’s website and processing fees).
⊹ If you really need to do a refund, and work has already commenced, you will receive only 50% of the full price (minus VGen website and processing fees). But please do not place an order if you are unable to commit.──── ꒰ COPYRIGHT & USAGE ꒱⊹ All commissioned work is for PERSONAL USE only, unless you have paid for commercial rights or commercial rights is already included within the base price (i.e. emotes).
⊹ Do not trace, edit, or repurpose my work as a base for other purposes. Editing to resize, crop, and etc, for the purpose of pfp or showcase is fine.
⊹ Clients must credit me when reposting commissioned piece on any platform (@mimourie on Twitter/X, BlueSky, Twitch — for Twitch credits specifically, please use [Mimourie](https://vgen.co/mimourie) if possible).
⊹ Clients are not permitted to use the commissioned piece, whether modified or not, for non-fungible tokens, crypto related work, AI training, etc.──── ꒰ COMMUNICATION ꒱All communication, regarding your commission, should be done through VGen’s direct messaging system.
